10km Hike - Followed by 10min Cold dip!
Climbed the iconic Pen-y-fan mountain wth Angel Jones - enjoying the peaceful 'secret' scenic route to embrace the splendour of South Wales' highest mountain, passing over Corndu mountain and looking down on the beautiful Brecon valley, followed by a Dip in the cool clean crisp lake as we descended below the Summit

30km Bike Ride - 5km Run - 30km Bike Ride
Bike ride along the beautiful Monmouthshire and Brecon canal before meeting Jo and Isabel for the Cwmbran parkrun. Then it was back on the bike for the cycle home!

31 km Bike - 5km parkrun - 31 km Bike
Ride along the scenic western part of the Monmouthshire and Brecon canal before meeting Jo for the Brecon 'Y Promenad' parkrun. After a coffee, it was time to head back along teh canal to get home.

The "Burn 6" Adventure Race in Margam Park, near Swansea on 12 October 2024 was a multi-discipline endurance event involving running, mountain biking and kayaking - and map reading! The course was 100% off road.
