More details on the second series of events....
9 January 2025 - Wye Valley and Piercefield Park (Chepstow)
An off-road course on mostly grassy terrain with very little in the way of rocks and roots - suitable for all. The course no longer runs on the Wye Valley Walk but stays instead within the confines of Piercefield Park. Hosted at the lovely racecourse facilities with ample car parking and the usual cakes and hot drinks after in the plush bar area. All fully marked as usual with over 400 reflective markers.
25th January 2025 - Bryn Bach parkrun
My closest parkrun. Cycled there along Route 46. Ran 5km parkrun with Jo. Cycled Home. Very cold and icy!
8 February 2025 - Dingestow Lake
This introduction to cold wild water swimming took place in a private, exclusive, clean, natural spring fed lake in safe environment with Wild Swim Specialist Angela Jones.
Situated within an area of outstanding natural beauty, this private lake provides the perfect setting for you to safely learn about swimming wild in cold water and be free in nature.

15 February 2025 - The Limitless Trails postponed 'Secret Santa' 12km Trail Race. I was the Back Runner for this event. Jo & Ella did the 12km race. Peter did the 10miler - and won his age group, coming second overall.
23rd February 2025 - The ‘scenic’ 7miler turned out to be an 8mile slog through muddy fields, streams, and steep hills - battling through gusty winds and rain. Great challenge though. Well done to Mark for pipping me to the finish line.
The "Burn 6" Adventure Race in Margam Park, near Swansea on 12 October 2024 was a multi-discipline endurance event involving running, mountain biking and kayaking - and map reading! The course was 100% off road.
A magical night-swim in the glorious surroundings of a private lake set in 200 acres of stunning Monmouthshire countryside with Angela Jones and team.
